Registration

You need to submit your registration application in advance to attend The 2012 Avatar Wizard Course. Please fill out the forms completely to avoid any delay in processing. Course check-in will be on Sunday, January 22 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday, January 23 from 8:00 –9:30 AM. Register and send in your deposit to secure your place at Wizards 2012. Here's a link to more information and the registration form.

Accommodation

For Wizards 2012 you have a choice of three hotels, all located on Daytona Beach an easy walk from the Ocean Center.

Hilton Daytona Beach

Transportation

Orlando International Airport is located one hour and twenty minutes west of Daytona Beach. There are numerous rental car companies available at the terminal, as well as shuttle and taxi services. All major airlines service the Orlando International Airport.

Daytona Orlando Transit Service (DOTS)

DOTS shuttle rate is $35.00 one way; $65.00 round trip from the Orlando International Airport to your hotel and return (with round trip ticket). Mears Transportation

Transportation from the Orlando International Airport directly to the Daytona Beach Hotels (Hilton Daytona Beach, the Plaza Resort & Spa, and the Plaza Ocean Club) is provided by Mears Transportation. To make reservations call the Mears 24 hour customer service number at 1-800-759-5219 or 407-423-5566. You can also visit their website at www.mearstransportation.com. As this is not a Star's Edge organized service, you will need to make your own arrangements for group transportation.

Town car (holds 2 - 3 passengers) $140.00 per vehicle, each way.

SUV (holds 3 - 7 passengers) - $165.00 from Orlando International Airport to Daytona Beach, $150 return trip from Daytona to Orlando. Prices include driver gratuity.
